When it comes to sustainability measures, we rely on selected partnerships to bundle the expertise available, create synergies and optimally exploit the different communication channels.

BELIMO AUTOMATION AG

Arosa Lenzerheide has a long-standing partnership with Belimo Automationen AG. Belimo is the world market leader in the development, manufacture and sale of field devices for the energy-efficient control of heating, ventilation and air conditioning systems. Damper actuators, control valves, sensors and meters form the core business. With Belimo, Arosa Lenzerheide has an innovative partner at world level, with whose support several sustainable projects have already been implemented in the region.

Construction of the Scharmoin Restaurant 2013

One of the greatest joint successes was recorded with the new construction of the Scharmoin Restaurant, with its opening in December 2013 after only around 8 months of construction. Thanks to the Belimo Energy Valve™ (valve with pressure-independent flow control and transparent monitoring of the heating or cooling system) integrated during construction, it was possible to integrate the building technology into the management system of Lenzerheide Bergbahnen, thus ensuring energy-optimized and thus sustainable operation of the restaurant.

Construction of the Motta Hut 2017

Another major project that Arosa Lenzerheide was able to realize together with Belimo was the new construction of the Motta Hut in 2017. With the use of the Belimo Energy Valve™ with Cloud connection, the project goes one step further than the Scharmoin Restaurant project, which was already completed in 2013. By integrating it into the Belimo Cloud, Lenzerheide Bergbahnen AG receives even more precise information on the energy consumption of the heat pump and ventilation systems, which means that more efficient energy use can be achieved.
